Permanent Makeup (PMU) – Terms & Conditions & Policies
By booking a permanent makeup treatment with [Your Business Name], you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the following terms and conditions.

Age Requirement
* Clients must be 18 years or older.
* Valid photo ID may be requested.
* No treatment will be carried out on anyone under 18.
Deposits & Booking
* A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all appointments.
* Appointments are not confirmed until the deposit is received.
* The deposit is deducted from the total treatment cost on the day.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
* 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
* Cancellations made within 48 hours, or no-shows, will result in loss of deposit.
* Appointments may be rescheduled once only. Any further rescheduling will require a new deposit.
Treatment Sessions & Timing
* Permanent makeup usually requires two sessions.
* The second session must be completed within 12 weeks of the first. After 12 weeks, it will be treated as a new treatment at full price.
* Occasionally, a third session may be required, at a cost of £50, depending on skin type and healing.
Additional Sessions & Skin Type Considerations
* Clients with oily skin, sunbed users, or certain skin types may require additional sessions at £50 per session.
* Pigment retention and results may be affected by skin type, lifestyle, medications, and aftercare.
* Results are not guaranteed.
Previous PMU, Laser, or Saline Removal
* If you have had previous permanent makeup, laser, or saline removal, results cannot be guaranteed.
* Scar tissue, pre-existing pigment, or skin trauma may affect colour retention and shape.
* Additional sessions may be required and are chargeable.
Hair Stroke, Colour & Symmetry
* Hair strokes cannot be guaranteed on oily skin and may heal with a more powdery or blurred appearance.
* Darker colours may heal cooler or ashier.
* Brows are sisters, not twins; perfect symmetry is not possible.
Results & Maintenance
* Permanent makeup is not permanent.
* Colour will fade over time, and boosts may be required from 6 months, charged separately.
* Touch-ups are recommended for optimal results, but results are never guaranteed.
Client Responsibility
* Clients must disclose all relevant medical conditions, medications, allergies, pregnancy, skin conditions, and previous cosmetic treatments.
* Failure to disclose relevant information may affect results and void liability.
* A patch test may be required 48 hours prior to treatment. Allergic reactions, although rare, may occur.
Aftercare
* Clients agree to follow all aftercare instructions provided.
* Failure to follow aftercare guidance may affect the final result.
Photo & Video Consent
* By proceeding, clients consent to before/after photos and videos being taken for social media, website, marketing, or educational purposes, unless otherwise indicated.
